LEX TRIPON IS A DYNAMIC LAW FIRM OWNED AND OPERATED BY CATALIN TRIPON, WHICH PROVIDES A WIDE RANGE OF BUSINESS LEGAL SOLUTIONS.
Catalin started his business law practice under the business name LEX TRIPON in 2016. Following the articles, he practiced administrative/regulatory law, corporate law, and administrative litigation with the Ontario Racing Commission (2014-2015). He articled with the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (2013-2014) where he assisted Tribunal counsel and Members in matters regarding tariff classifications and federal procurement. Before moving to Canada, he practiced corporate law, mergers & acquisitions, and commercial law in Romania for several years.
Catalin was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 and has been a member of the bar in Romania since 2007. He obtained four law degrees in three jurisdictions: J.D. (2013) in Ontario; S.J.D. (2003) and LL.M. (1998) in Hungary; B.C.L. (1997) in Romania.
In the area of customs and trade law, Catalin has been a Certified Trade Compliance Specialist since 2018. He has also acquired certifications in Ethical Conduct for Research on Humans (TCPS2: Core) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
He is a member of the International Compliance Professional Association and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business.
